Sugar and Nana!
Today we had to have Gabbys bili levels tested again. We were suprised they were still high, at 16.9 but her Dr is satisfied they are going down (duh) so no further action is needed. YAY! No more pin cushion baby...I dont feel like a mean, evil mother now.
I had read somewhere online to soothe a baby, use a pacifier dipped in sugar water...so David and I tried that today and it was wonderful! She didnt wake up, didnt flinch, didnt cry...nothing!!! Needless to say, from now on we are carrying a small baggy of sugar in her diaper bag.
And Nana (my Mum) is flying out to visit us! YAY!!! She will be here from the 19th (my bday) to the 23rd. We are all so excited to see each other =)
