1 week
Gabby had her 1 week appt today. *sigh* Its been 1 week already! Time realllllllllllllly goes by so much faster AFTER our little ones get here. It is sad at times, but I try not to focus on that and just stay in the here and now & revel in how totally wonderful she is!
Anyway, she weighed in @ 6lbs 5oz, she was down to 6lbs 4oz when we left the hospital so it appears she is gaining and thats great! Sadly we had to have blood drawn for her bili levels as she is still looking pretty jaundiced. The lab tech stuck her in the foot which really didnt even phase her, but...the squeezing/milking action to get all the damn blood they needed must have really hurt her because she cried something fierce. It broke my heart and I nearly sobbed the whole time. Since her levels came back at 19 (yikes!) we have to go back in tomorrow and have it done again. More heartbreak. I know its needed but it really is just so sad to see your child hurting.
Other than that...she is doing perfectly! She is so freaking amazing!!!
