ouch!!
I have a sunburn. It hurts. It is not even April yet.
Today was G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S. The weather was warm (not hot thank goodness) and breezy. And I had a lot of laundry to get done. I decided it was the perfect time to dust off the clothes line and pins and hang everything I washed. I am always amazed at how much faster clothes seem to dry on the line. And the smell?! OMG There is seriously nothing that compares to the fresh line dried outdoors smell. Well actually, little newborn babies smell pretty darn good. Wow, that is a close call there. hmmm
Anyway, 5 loads of clothes, 1 load of towels and 2 loads of sheets later (all washed and dried and folded by 4pm) I ended up with a broken clothes line (glad that it lasted til the end of the last load to wear thin, will buy more and replace this weekend) and a sunburn! It really didn't even dawn on me that I could get a sunburn. Stupid, I know. I live in TX and it gets crazy sun here. I should have been more careful. At least it is still early in the season and the sun wasn't as powerful as it could have been so I don't hurt too terribly bad. And Gabby is just fine, having only played outside early this morning while I was hanging clothes. Good reminder that from now on, before we venture outside, it is time for sunscreen!!
Now, time to tackle the putting away of said clothes. ugh.
