4 Months

Gabby had her 4 month check up today. She is "perfect" Well, of course she is!!! We expected nothing less. Her head circumference is a bit above th 25th%ile, she is 24 1/2" long which puts her a bit above the 50th%ile and she weighs 13lbs 7oz which also puts her a bit above the 50th%ile. She is doing so well!

Her 2 bottom teeth are coming in, the gums are very swollen and she is drooling like mad, so I hope they pop thru soon, for her sake! She is strictly on formula now, we stopped b/fing a week ago today. It still makes me a bit sad, but she is doing well and I am SO very glad to have been able to breastfeed for as long as we did! She is also taking a bit of rice cereal in the morning and again in the evening. She doesnt tolerate "stage 1" foods yet so we are going to wait til closer to 6 months for those, but she is loving the cereal!

She has also mastered the art of rolling from her back to her belly. She isnt so fond of being on her belly once she gets there so we are hoping she soon discovers how to roll onto her back again! She is also becoming more and more vocal each day. And SO good at playing with her toys and doing things intentionally. It is SO amazing to watch her grow and learn and thrive! If only time could slow down a bit lol
