Bad Blogger!!!

AHHHH! It just seems to be another thing on my plate these days and honestly, most days I can barely handle what is there already. I just don't know how some people do it! Kudos to them. I struggle.

Hello, my name is Sunny and it's been a month since my last blog entry. I am a bad blogger. blech. And I STILL haven't caught up on our trip to Walt Disney World. Which was in early May. EARLY MAY!!!  It's almost EARLY AUGUST now, ffs. I have stories to tell and memories to share and pictures and videos. Oh so many pictures and videos! Plus I have codes to get some free prints and books of those pics.  I have GOT to get organized and get my sh!t together!  All while organizing another trip for late next May, Early June...for Kimberly's Graduation Vacation!!

Okay, so what has happened in this past month {in no particular order} since I know you are all just chaffing at the bit with wonderment...

• KIMBERLY VISITED!!! She flew from July 8th-July 21st. It was a short & sweet visit. We enjoyed every second of it!
• She also turned 17. And drives. And is freaking gorgeous. HOLY CRAP!!! Is she that old??? Am I that old??? Yep. As it happens. We are. She is 17. And a bunch of days now actually. Fast on her way to 18. [there goes my belly doing a full blown flip flop roll thingy internally]
• She will be starting her Senior Year next month and looking at some colleges come this fall/winter...more on that on her page as we get info ;)
• Jade is 13. As in a teenager. TEENAGER. Nuff said?!
• She is starting to be more "into" music, pop culture, makeup, friend drama & boys. The latter 2 we would prefer to be left for like, hmmm NEVER {well at least the friend drama} She is really *into* My Little Pony. {wtf?! I know, right?!} Maybe because of a "brony" as in "bro" + "pony" = bro (boys) who like My Little Pony.
• But on the plus side she is learning to express herself more through means of creativity, currently via her own YouTube channel. Check it out here. (work in progress)
• School starts for Jade next month as well and she will be starting the 8th grade. The year before HIGH SCHOOL {cue the theme music from Jaws here}
• Super Gabby is still, well the Gabster.  The "average" 4 year old asks approximately 400 questions per day.  I do not have an "average" 4 year old.  I am not even kidding.
• She watches way too much t.v. I really hate this. The fault is squarely mine and David's, but I try to tell myself it could be worse. She watches PBS (we don't have cable) and Disney movies. But she just HAS to have something on the television, if only for background noise it seems. (I know what this is like, but it is reallllly annoying when you're 4 year old needs it to function without having a meltdown)
• She is so many things! Awesome. Amazing. Smart. Talented. Beautiful. Stubborn. Curious. Mean. Vicious. Hurtful. Mouthy. Probably things a 4 (or 14) year old should be. [?] But, man does she know how to push my buttons already. Heavens help me as the years go on... 
• And holy crap! She is supposed to be starting SCHOOL next month!!! Like real school! Pre-k at the same school here in town that her older sister, Jade went to. [and cousin Adam goes to for a couple more years] Some days she is so ready and excited. Other days not so much. hmmm Sounds kinda, sorta like me when I think about it ;)
• Super Gracey is definitely still Super Gracey lol She FINALLY hit that point where she decided she wants to talk. So she repeats all the words we say.  All the words her Super Sisters say. All the words she hears on her PBS shows or movies. It's pretty cute. She has her own way of saying lots of them, but we definitely understand what she is saying now.
• She has her 2 year check up next month. Just a couple of days after her 2nd Birthday.  That's always *fun*.
• HER 2nd BIRTHDAY!!! OMG!!! The last of my babies is turning 2 already!!! Where the hell did the last 2 years go? Screw that.  Where there hell did the last 18 years go?! *sigh* Anyway, we are working on figuring something out for her special day.
• We got a puppy. Yep. A puppy.  Her name is Pandora.  She is a Rottweiler/German Shepard Mix that we rescued from the local humane society and so far things are going...Well, so far things are going.  ;)  She is, after all, a puppy.  She is still learning how to *play* with us and the Gs & what is too hard when she bites/nips. We really hope to remedy this SOON. She has some indoor pee accidents [to be expected] but we are having no other accidents =) We all really love her & she does really seem to love us and being here so hopefully the biting gets resolved soon.
