What we're up to
Gabriella:
- waiting [
patiently] for her 3rd birthday!! - staying dry almost every night
- can count to 10 by herself, 20 with prompting
- working on pen/pencil holding skills
- perfecting colors/shapes/letters/numbers [recognizing]
- dressing self [why is UNdressing so much easier]
- about to visit the dentist for her next exam [she loves these and does very well, this will be her 3rd time I think]
- working on listening/following directions [without talking back or whining]
- loves to play with her sisters and can make Gracey laugh all the time, very cute!
- getting very, very excited for our family trip to Maine this summer, she can't wait to see her Nana & Kimmy & go to the beach!!!
- Almost 8 months old *sigh*
- crawls around, awesome at it, gets into EVERYTHING
- has pulled self up a few times
- doesn't like to 'step' or try to walk [totally okay with this! not ready for her to be that mobile yet]
- still a nursing champ, several times a day
- sleeps wonderfully through the night [this has not changed since she was 6ish weeks old]
- moved out of mumma & daddy's bedroom and now shares one with her big sister [not sure how she feels about this yet]
- has a total of 6 teeth ALREADY [2 bottom chompers and 4 top, and a cute [not so] little gap between her front teeth, just like her big sister and her mumma] time to bring her to the dentist as well
- we added 2 baby bunnies to our family, Shadow & Mittens
- readying ourselves for our big summer vacation
- planning for our big, huge, amazing family vacation to Walt Disney World & Universal Studios next March
- house hunting, not for purchase [that is nowhere in our foreseeable future] just for something different and a bit nicer/newer...without so many ants in the yard!!
