Up to date

Just some pics & random blurbs that bring us up to date! Hope everyone is doing well =) * (This tip is for you Mum, don't forget you can click on an individual pic to view it larger...)

Gabby is currently sick (pretty much for the first time ever since being born) with what her Drs think is Roseola Infantum...a fancy name for a rash of infancy. Its a high fever for a few days that goes away and is replaced by a rash which only lasts a short time. She seems to be okay really, just a bit crankier/clingier than usual. Hopefully she will be feeling all better in just a few more days.

David and I have spent the weekend (aside from tending to a sick wee one) working on our yard/flowers/garden. We will be building the actual box to fill with soil for my raised vegetable garden within the next 2 or so weeks. That will be exciting as my seedlings are doing great and are really wanting to move into their new, permanent home!! Yesterday while David was working on the below mentioned thorn bush, I tackled some of our shrubs out front. Man, what a task! Im not done yet, and not really looking forwarding to finishing either lol We then got a chance to plant a few Reblooming Daylilies together while the baby napped. Im really excited about them and hope they turn out great!

David cleaning out underneath the kitchen cabinets at the new house. Such a good housewife he is (sometimes lol)

Here is Gabby "helping" us clean and move!

Gabby reallllllllllllllly wanted to get to the T.V. back at the old apartment, we had one of her toys in front of it to block it off but she quickly discovered how to bypass that.

I LOVE BABY TOES!!!

Check out that smile!

She was/is VERY intrigued by the pins/brackets/thingy that is at the bottom of each door...

Checking out & then being unimpressed by the baby gate keeping her bound to the new living room...

Her future is so bright, she's gotta wear shades! Getting ready to take a stroll with Mumma.

This is a VERY scary thorn bush in our back yard. Yesterday David spent a good deal of time trimming it back and then researching how to actually get rid of it. He got most of it for now (it is sure to grow back over time) & we will just have to keep our eyes out for the regrowth to take care of it before it gets too bad (unlike the previous tenants)

Gabby relaxing outside while we did yardwork last weekend.

She isn't too sure of this grass stuff!

More Baby TOES!!!

She was sitting outside drinking her bottle & running the grass through her fingers like she does with her hair. It was very sweet.

Here is the 'old' kitchen floor. Although it was functional, it was pretty ugly and beat up. The dining room had the same laminate flooring.
Here is the kitchen floor after!!! We LOVE it!

We stopped at the kitchen/dining room line and did a different tile...its hard to see the pattern in this pic but we really like the way it came out! So much better than the old stuff.

I am currently in love with "baby tutus" and have been trying my hand at them. They are simple and inexpensive and I LOVE THEM! Poor Gabby may never be the same again, as I'm not sure she will ever wear regular clothes again lol

And here is one of Gabby's new favorite snack, whole blueberries. She LOVES them!!! Along with lots of other bits of fruit, including apples, bananas, strawberries, pears, peaches and kiwis... but so far blueberries are most definitely her fave!
