8 Months

Yesterday marked 8 months since Gabby was born. It is so hard to believe that much time has passed! Here are some tidbits of info on her as of now:

• Sits unsupported/unassisted for long periods of time to play!

• Can hold her own bottle!

• LOVES LOVES LOVES cheerios, yogurt bites, & various other "finger foods"!

• Is VERY interested in the food on Mumma & Daddy's plate @ meal time!

• Says "Mumma" & "Da" and although they may not be "real" words at this point they are great to hear all the same!

• Has her 2 front, bottom teeth!

• Is scared of Elmo & most other toys that talk to her!

• Has recently started getting into a seated position from lying down!

• Can get herself up on her hands and knees and "rock" a bit, but no real crawling yet!

• Occasionally pulls up on things, including Mumma & Daddy!

• Very interested in books and pictures and is very attentive when we read to her!

There are probably many more things I am forgetting but that is the jist of it for now. She is growing too dang fast, but doing so well and that is great! We have her 9 month check up coming up in a few weeks and are excited to see her growth since 6 months and a few days after that appt we are headed to Maine! Gabby will be taking her first plane ride! YAY =) More on that later, of course.
