Virtual Shower

Its hard to know where to start this one! I am part of an online community of women who are also expecting little ones in May...I have become very close to a small group of women within this community. We chat daily on a message board in The Longest Thread. I am grateful beyond words to these lovely ladies. They have learned over time that I never had a 'traditional' shower when I was pregnant with Kimberly and since I live so far away from my family this pregnancy there was no option for a shower to welcome this baby either. They found ways around that!!!

I was informed at the beginning of last week that I was to be the proud recipient of an "online/virtual baby shower"! Who the heck does that for someone they have never 'met' before?! It still amazes me that I know such a wonderful group of women and they made David and I feel soooooo good about welcoming Gabriella into our life!

Here are the AWESOME gifts we have gotten over the past week!!!

Ditto, and ditto. We were happy to do it for you! It'll be so great if we can make our Disney trip happen next year and actually get to give the hugs we virtually sent with the gifts.

Oh I can not agree more about the potential of making the Disney Dream Trip a reality!!! I get SO excited thinking about it and thinking about meeting all you amazing women and your babies!!!

You are SO very welcome! I am thrilled we could all pull together to do something like that for you. I wish we could have all come there! (actually I wish I could hang out with all of you on a regular basis!!)
